Off-Strategy: Beginner headlines

I was cleaning out the notes from my first semester of studying advertising and I came across an in-class assignment I had worked on.

I had to write headlines for a brand of more absorbent baby diapers. I decided to post a couple of them because I think they are a good example of where someone's head is at before they really start learning how to approach an ad. Plus, they still make me laugh.

So again, headlines for extra absorbent diapers:


-Wet dream.

-Sleeping doodie.

-Now it's okay if your baby has a shitty sleep.
